AUGUSTA M. TUTTLE
Augusta M. Tuttle was born Feb. 4, 1895 and passed away July 11, 1958 at the age of 63 years, 5 months and 7 days. She was united in marriage on Sept. 27, 1916 to Guilford Glenn Tuttle. To this union were born five children: Melvin of Chariton, Ivan of Ames, Margery Dennison of Chariton, Don of Beirut, Lebanon and Charles William who preceded her in death.
Left to mourn her passing are her husband, four children, nine grandchildren, one brother, John Schreck, and two sisters, Ida Roberts and Mary Burnett. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna Schreck; two sisters, Laura Mitchell and May Burg.
Augusta was born and spent her entire life on a farm in Lucas County. She was active all her life. She was a kind and loving mother and grandmother and always put her family's interest first. Her passing will be mourned by all who knew her.
Funeral services were conducted by Harry Newman, Sunday, July 13, 1958 at 2:00 at the Beardsley Funeral Home. Interment was in Freedom Cemetery.
