General Notes for Enos Calhoun Hodson
About a week ago Dr. J. Hodson of South Coos river received the unwelcome news of the death Of his brother Enos, near Turner, in Marion county, after a brief illness, from lung fever. Abraham Hodson, son of the deceased, arrived here just before Christmas, to visit the doctor and his family. The sad and unexpected hews of his fathers death cut his visit short and last Friday he started home with a heavy heart, to be with and comfort his aged mother in her sad bereavement. Enos Hodson was an old and highly-esteemed citizen of Oregon, to which state he and the doctor and another brother immigrated 24 years ago, and his death will be lamented wherever he was known
