General Notes for Annie Margaret Frazier
Annie Margaret Rufi Frazier was born August 26, 1880, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Jacob and Anna Margaret Tuck Rufi. She was blessed on October 24, 1880, baptized February 5, 1889 and confirmed February 7, 1889. She was married to George Augustus Frazier on June 14, 1904 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She took out her endowments on June 28, 1935 and her husband took his endowment out on March 3, 1937. They were sealed as man and wife on September 26, 1950.
She attended Bryant Grade School in Salt Lake City. At the age of 16, she went to work at ZCMI Shoe factory and was there for 7 1/2 years. After she was married she and her husband made their home in Woodruff. They are the parents of four children: Francis, Alton, Syble and Leslie.
Her daughter Syble wrote of her mother: "My mother was the dearest sweetest soul. Everyone loved her. She was affectionately called "Aunt Annie." She dearly loved babies and held them in her arms at every opportunity. She was a devout and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Many of her hours were spent in the Woodruff Ward Relief Society quilting on beautiful quilts."
Annie died on June 8, 1969 in Ogden, Utah. She was buried on June 12, 1969 in Woodruff Cemetery.
