General Notes for Hulda Randall Hoover
Hulda Randall Minthorn was eleven when her family group migrated from Canada to IA. She attended Iowas State University and taught school. She was an outstanding woman, an ordained Quaker minister much in demand for her gentle, eloquent speaking voice and interest in community affairs. A lady of golden sunshine, her son Theodore wrote of her. When she died of typhoid four years after her husband, the money left to her was still intact for her children.
